# Adding Members

## This article covers how to add members to your studio

### **Adding members**

There are two ways a member ends up in your studio:

1. **You add them manually** in the Vibefam admin portal.
2. **They add themselves** by buying a package from you online.

To add a member manually:

1. Go to the **Members** tab.
2. Click **Add Member** and enter the member's email. 
     - *Member emails are unique — the same email can't be used to create two accounts.*
3. Fill in the member's details. Only **Full Name** is required; **Username, mobile number, date of birth,** and **password** are optional.
4. Click **Submit**.

If you don't set a password, an email is sent to the member to complete their own account setup.
