Referral Program – How It Works

Our Referral Program helps your studio grow by rewarding members who refer their friends to join. This feature makes it easy to track referrals, give out rewards, and encourage organic, word-of-mouth growth.

πŸ‘₯ What is a "Referrer" and "Referee"
  • Referrer πŸ†
    The existing member who shares their referral link or code with a friend. If the friend joins successfully, the referrer receives the reward.

  • Referee πŸŽ‰
    The new member who signs up using the referral link or code. They may also receive a reward (depending on your program setup).

🎁 How does the Referral Program work?

There are TWO different ways to set up the referrals.

    1. Affiliate Link Referral (To lower the barrier of entry for new users to go for a trial)

      • A member shares their unique referral link.

      • Their friend (the referee) uses the link to sign up.

        • The referee gets a $10 discount on their trial pack.

    2. Classic Referral (To incentivize the referee to make a purchase to be rewarded)

      • The referee purchases a package directly.

      • Both the referee and the referrer get 1 free group class.

πŸš€ Quick start (10 mins)

Step 1: Go to - Referrals

  • Go to Leads -> Referrals

Step 2: Decide your rewards

  • Money Off: Discounts via Promo Code

    • Example: $20 off via promo code (Ideal for trial pack sign-ups).

  • Free Package: Giving free classes/credits to successful referrals 
    • Example:  1 free group class for both referrer & referee OR no reward for the referees

Step 3: Configuring reward condition

  • Exclude certain packages from being eligible for the referral program. (Example: trial packages)

Step 4: Setting the reward timing

  • Configure when the referee should receive their rewards. 
    • Immediately after signing up using a referral code, OR Only after they have purchased a package.
    • Once you have set this, you can click "Save" to save your referral program settings.

Step 5: Finally turn on Referral Program

  • Turn on the Referral Program at the top of the page.

 

βœ… Steps for members 

Step 1: Go to the Booking website/Branded App and select "My Referrals"

Step 2: Copy referral link

  • Members can find and copy their personal referral link in the app.

Step 3: Share & Sign up

  • Their friend signs up using the referral link.

Step 4: Redeem reward

  • Both members receive their rewards based on the conditions set.

Members will receive monthly reminders encouraging them to share their referral links and grow your studio community.

In addition, existing members will also see the (Refer a Friend) prompt on the "Buy Packages" page on the booking website/branded app.

➑️ Next Steps After Turning On Your Referral Program

Create Awareness of the Referral Program Setup

  • You can send a marketing email (Emails can be sent via our Marketing Feature) to engage with your existing members to refer a friend and earn their rewards. 
    • Send a dedicated campaign explaining the rewards and how members can share their referral link.
  • Share through social platforms to show how easy it is to refer friends and have a workout session together.
